Michelle Phi

This movie feels like the spirit of Sophocles. An epic and grand tragedy I've only ever seen before in classical plays. The narrative structure and visual storytelling carry you smoothly through all the unknown and new concepts that would otherwise be alienating. Watching the film feels like slipping into water for the first time and immediately knowing how to swim. Immediately one of my favorite movies, and engaged me in the story and world so much I went and bought the book the next day.
