Although I have liked watching 9 1 1 Lone Star, it seems to be a comical parody of the original 9 1 1. The characters are interesting enough, but they are shallow and don’t inspire much empathy for the viewer. I just can’t find any caring for these individuals. They seem to be more concerned with their “diversity” than making a connection with their audience. I especially think Rob Lowe’s character is too vain and shallow to be taken seriously. He is almost laughable. Hope the writers can somehow find more depth to these characters. it could be a good show if they stop trying to shove their diversity down our throats.
