Ruth Levin

I read this Book over sixty years ago when I was in Junior high school. I remembeing being interested in the way that life in the early 1900s was so different from life in the midcentury. The family who owned the house rented out rooms to borders. I found the description of the life of the school teacher to be especially interesting since I had teachers in my family and their lives were not like that described in the book. I don't know what caused me to think about this book tonight, but I wish I had a copy to read again.
