Favorite comedy show currently on air. Love all the character development that happens almost weekly. Each show is self-contained, but there's still plenty of over-arching mysteries (Who murdered one of them? Why was another abandoned? And so on.) Lots of great chemistry w the entire cast. Love Jay's sister's involvement. Jay is awesome and manages to be be hilarious despite his obvious handicap. (or possibly because of it)
Watched the British version and if you like British humor it's ok. Unfortunately, some jokes (ie someone being cursed to jump out a window screaming) get very stale after a few times and what passes for character development moves at the pace of tectonic plates shifting. Personally I think the American version is less stuffy, more contemporary and absolutely superior, but the British version is worth a watch if you enjoy that sort of thing. I absolutely included my comparison to it in response to the people who felt the need to rave about the dull as a butter-knife Brit version while trashing the American show, which, ironically stars a beautiful New Zealander doing a damned fine American accent.
Watching Heddy and Issac evolve has been the best part of show for me. But I REALLY want that murder solved. I'm even starting to enjoy Todd!
