DEFINITELY ONE OF THE FINEST OPEN WORLD GAMES I HAVE EVER PLAYED. I platinum’d the game on PS4 only a week after it’s release. It was that addicting. Watch Dogs Legion gets that 10/10 for open world over the top crazy gameplay. The game reminds me of Saints Row at times. I would say Watch Dogs is a blend of seriousness and whacky fun. It’s definitely a middle ground between Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row. Grand Theft Auto usually aims for realism minus GTA Online. Saints Row aims for crazy over the top whacky gameplay. With Watch Dogs Series they can at times show more realistic things then the Grand Theft Auto games. But at the same time Watch Dogs goes above and beyond realism and reminds you that your playing a video game and adds funny great things you shouldn’t and can’t do in reality. Like car surfing on a car while you hack the cars driving system and see how long you can stay on and not fall off. Car surfing is a feature in the Saints Row Franchise also. And that’s why Watch Dogs is like a GTA/SR Hybrid. I love it. The story is good also the concept of a dystopian London with mercs running the streets very interesting. The game is for sure a solid 10/10
