Just really love this show. Vera fights her inner demons but, she always solves the cases she investigates with the help of joe and the rest of her team. Gritty at times, funny and sad but, overall an excellently acted show. I love Vera's very dreary and drab dresses and that same old scarf hanging around her neck. Must not forget her hat and coat either......those pockets of hers must hold an absolute myriad of treasures.

I really loved this show...I found it very well acted, particularly the earlier series, the cast was always well chosen and most of the episodes were quite believable. I wish that there had been more episodes made.
