The rings of power first and second season really highlight the decline of western civilization. The writing, acting, and directing is laughably bad. Serious line are delivered with such simplicity and vague intrigue as the actors peer outward with a look of confusion attempting to convince the audience that they are serious. I suppose much of the popular television is written for children & simpletons, but the lack of taste is so apparent that it's a slap in the face to the richness of the Tolkien world. 1 Billion dollar project budget should have been spent on affordable housing. My bad guys Im just not about this goofiness
