I'm not sure of the audience they were looking to target when they made this movie, if you're a lover of history or in any way particular about how folk tales are presented, then avoid this movie unless you're prepares to get down on your knees before the gods of suspended belief The Cockney accents used unsparingly throughout the movie are somewhat out of place but aren't nearly as grating as most of the cast carrying themselves as 1980s London Gangster types, it just doesn't flow with the story. The story is stupid, simple, and easy to digest. Honestly, the lack of effort in the script and its rushed nature saves us having to deal with uninteresting dialogue between action scenes, dialogue that completely misses the opportunity to add class to the story utilising historical context or the interplay between what should have been compelling characters Watch it without expectations and you will probably finish the movie not feeling like you wasted an hour and thirty minutes

I forgave this movie pretty early for historical inaccuracies, I thought that, given it presented itself to me from that point forward as a fun action romp loosely based on historical events, that it would present little else to challenge my enjoyment Unfortunately, I was wrong... Very early in the film, we are introduced to a number of very interesting characters that the film suggests will be central to the story, I'm reality the film chooses to spend time with two borderline contrived characters who do a good job carrying the story forward, this happens in place of exploring further the characters with more room for characters development in the story. The Movie did not hold my attention but, it's not because the acting is bad or it's filmed poorly, the story just isn't good enough to make me want to hang around for thr action. I watched it until the end because It felt like a waste of time not to see it, not because I cared enough how it ended. I can't even say it's a good movie to chill in front of and let happen in front of you because it made me want to be doing something else
