Was in the mood Sunday night to bum out and check out Netflix for an unknown movie title b/c sometimes those are the best ones. I came across “Hillbilly Elegy”by chance. (By the way, please don’t judge, but I don’t even know what the word elegy actually means but I guess I will be learning that today! lol) checked out the trailer, and said “oh,OK”, this will do; looks good for the next two hours…So, as I am watching the movie and doing my nails I happen to notice that JD Vance on a piece of paper in the beginning of the movie.WHAT? JD Vance? Wait, Huh? reached for the remote-rewind it -yep, I thought so. I was right. does say JD Vance. And he met his Indian girlfriend at Harvard University… Holy Toledo! (Excuse the Ohio pun) This JD Vance in this flick just happens to be VICE PRESIDENT ELECT OF THE UNITED STATES w/President elect of the United States 2025, Donald J. Trump! this film was released back five years ago. (2020) A memoir of his life. There is no mention of this info in the description or the trailer or Governor for that matter. How ironic said to self. Hit so close to home for me personally speaking. I can vividly relate to the messages is in this film. seem to parallel here and what makes this remarkable is that this young JD grows up to be Vice President of the United States just a few short years after this was released and added a cherry on top of it already heartfelt and sometimes a reality smack in the face about a child who witnessed what was all wrong in America because he lived through it and now that child is all grown up and holds the second most important job in the United States of America due to the failings, he encountered in his young life.. I wish there was a part 2! All grown up-Vance in the White House. This is excellent. What a sweet surprise! Nestle yourself in (2hrs)with popcorn and tissues and you’re in for a treat! “Hillbilly Elegy” is a memoir of our Vice President 2025 JD Vance… Ironic… Oh and by the way, thank you Ron Howard for bringing it once again ,you rock.!!!!🤘
