The movie was so realistic, I felt that I was in the pilgrimage with the characters. It was not corny or sentimental, nor preachy or exaggerated. The actors especially Martin Sheen was outstanding. The cinematography was outstanding, I would have loved to see this in the big screen instead of on TV.
This is a classic. I seldom see movies like this anymore.
