I’m a little embarrassed for everyone involved. This felt like a concept that was given to 6 people and then put together as a high school collage. It gave absolutely nothing- no emotion whatsoever except boredom. And because it’s Jordan Pele you keep holding on to hope that it’ll peak but it fell flat- all the way till the end. Keke, bless her heart, is too animated and you struggle to connect to her artistry. It felt like she was the comedic relief without the comedy. Just pointless over-the-topness. Everything was try hard, the characters lacked substance and the storyline was just not there. I didn’t know whether to laugh or be upset when it ended. I was mostly relieved.
