I didn't hate it. It is probably the worst SpongeBob thing I've ever seen though. I had a few laughs, and I loved some of the references to older episodes as well as some of the lore that's been confirmed in the film. It actually made me smile that some of Alex Bales conspiracy theories came true here. but the human characters were nerve-racking, the robot lady had terrible CGI. The CGI for the human characters in the movie make The Flash movies CGI look like the best thing on the planet. And I'm actually a big fan of that film. This movie is fun for the kids, my little sister didn't hate it, though she was confused and pointed out a few issues with the film herself. Like how the Cheeks family vehicle drove itself while they were all in the back eating breakfast. Made no sense. That being said it was unnecessary bringing Sandy's family into it but I actually like their characters. They were entertaining and I wish they actually expanded more upon that part of Sandy's life instead of the stupid fuckin plot of this movie. That would have been a more interesting plot. I rank it personally 2 stars but 3 is what I'll stick with because I'm not really the target audience. I'm a 21 year old super fan so I know my SpongeBob more than the actual target audience does, that's why I rank it higher because the average kid might actually like this movie.
