I really enjoyed normal people so I thought this would be similar. However, in the name of being awkward Frances was the most mind-numbingly boring and dull protagonist I have ever seen. I don’t know if it was the direction of the character, the choice of actress or bad acting but it was almost unwatchable whenever she was in a scene and she was incredibly unlikable. I did not feel bad for her at any point. No chemistry with Nick. And Bobbis character was trying too hard to play the rebel whose basically being obnoxious and rude but made to look as if she’s being alternative edgy and profound in all the scenes. The only watchable acting came from the older couple Melissa and nick. Disappointing altogether
