Loli Poppy

This game is literally shitting on the franchise and I will now be embarrassed to say that the dragon age series is my favorite. As a game in general, i will give it a 4/10. The combat was okay and the environment are good enough. The gameplay is very repetitive, there are so many useless puzzle stuff. I feel that if you remove all the puzzle from the game it’s like 5-10 hours of gameplay. They cleaaarly needed filler. Also, the dialogue are bad, at time it feels generated by ai As a dragon age game, it’s a 1/10. -The changes to the visual design and combat style if so jarring and i never got past it. Whats the point of changing those aspect in the 4th game of a series. -They barely talk or acknowledge the lore. They clearly want this game to be a stand alone (just create another game then smh). None of the choices you ever did in the other games matter. They avoid talking about anything that would remind player of the other games and their choices. They never talk about mages and templar, they barely acknowledge the chantry (i think i heard reference to the maker like 3 times), etc. -There are a loooot of false choices. Whats the point of making me choose if it ends up being the same result. -The music is very average. The only stand out was reused music from Inquisition. -The design of the races is horrendous. Somehow all the races look like human. Even though the established lore was that the elves were very skinny and had big eyes, they now look like average humans with pointy ears. Same for qunari, my god poor qunari, they look really weird and are all so small (except the ennemies for some reason?). It feels very ‘silly goofy’. -The companions are boring, their conversations are boring and the romances suck. Btw, you cant even interract with them at any time like in the other games to ask them questions, how they feel about the mission, etc. The moment you talk to the companions are at specific times. -The game thinks you’re really stupid and it holds your hand at all time. Anyways, I could go forever about this embarassement of a game, what a waste or money and my time. i just finished playing it and i can barely remember what i did.
