Spoiler Alert! Don't read unless you dislike surprises! The first part, good. The second, good but alas, the ending of the second ushered in a major twist. I immediately thought, this could be brilliant or this could sink my fondness faster than it took the Demeter. With high hopes and an urgency to watch the final episode, I started that final journey of my two night affair, concluding ex parte of being host to mistress of the night. Simply, the last episode was disappointing. Why? All rules in regards to the Count were thrown out without a humble reprieve or whimper. Are we to believe that after 500 or more years of "living the good undead life" that he decides to accept the whole "your'e afraid to die" speech/challenge and in his very last act, drinks dying blood, knowingly causing his own demise? With his time capsule resurrection still fresh at hand; the ever looming new discovery of technology; his personal of a child on Christmas morning, ordering his beastly cravings as finger-savvy-text-app easy...he decides to throw it all away! Come on! Writer Epic Fail! Dracula lost all his character, stamina, evilness, etc. while sleeping at the bottom of the ocean for 100 plus years? Did his brain become water logged along with his spine? The ending of this was a true "brexit" from the classic story! Expectations were snuffed out almost as much as the finale of GOT! Why do this injustice to one of the most ferocious appetites of a story that mankind has ever had? And they got way with it!
