If I could give a -10/10 I would. This is the worst graphics I've seen from a pokemon game ever, this shit might have passed on a 3ds but not on a switch or PC.
I honestly don't know which is worse, the thought that AI could be the reason why this game looks so bad, or that AI might have done a better job than what we got.
when it comes to the new combat, they honestly should have saved this new change for their next pokemon mystery dungeon game, or allowed you to control the pokemon during combat to dodge moves instead of the braindead button mashing we actually got. and the fact you can now run like a coward to escape trainer battles breaks one of the core traditions of the game.
this game barely passes for a free demo, let alone the $70+$DLC$ these greedy aholes want to charge you. I genuinely hope this flops so hard that nintendo gets the wake-up slap it deserves. Anyone giving this game 5 stars is either a cult member who'd eat any slop put in front of them, a sellout paid by nintendo to sing praises of it's slop, or a soulless bot review nintendo paid for in bulk.
I genuinely hate what's become of my all time childhood favorite game, as I've been playing since the original RBY on gameboy before I eventually stopped playing after ultra sun/moon as a switch was not in the budget. I still tuned in to see others play the games as they came out, and I not a single one of these newer pokemon games ever felt like good enough reason to get the switch (as pokemon would have been the only game I'd ever play on it, since I've fully moved onto PC gaming). Legends of Arceus felt like a slap in the face when I saw how bad it's graphics were. Yet here we are, just as you thought the bar could not have been lower, here's nintendo playing limbo with the devil.
