Radu Jude demonstrates how crap AI is by writing a crap movie himself and then saying "this is the kind of crap movie an AI would write". No Radu Jude, this is the kind of crap movie you just wrote.
The movie features several shots in the style of early DALL-E images (outdated even for 2024 standards) in order to show the audience how unaesthetic and grotesque AI art is - yet most of his own shots are either fuzzy or out of focus. So again, Radu Jude, it's not AI that hasn't grasped the basics of cinematography, it's in fact, again, you.
The movie attempts to touch on some heavier topics, yet it does so in a very superficial matter. During a nonsense conversation between side-characters, one of them does blurt out the line "war in Ukraine, the October 7 tragedy, Gaza and Trump" - which was (unintentionally) the funniest line in the movie. I guess the message of the film is "AI is bad" but we all know how well that argument went.
In conclusion, much like "Babardeală cu Bucluc" (2021) Radu Jude creates a strawman, attempts to fight it, and loses against the very strawman he created. Radu Jude is an impotent man, who even in his wildest sexual fantasies, still finds himself to be impotent - which would make for a better movie than Dracula (2025).
