BOTW was amazing, and I have been waiting just like everyone else to see how much more amazing they could make the kingdom of Hyrule in the time between games. Yes, the addition of the sky islands, caves, and the depths add a unique aspect to game play and hours and hours more of exploration time. However, there’s too much, in regards to the storyline, that is similar to BOTW. What I really wanted to see more than anything was improved temples and dungeons. The temples from TOTK have too much in common with the Devine Beasts. I was hoping for temples and dungeons like we saw in Ocarina of Time; temples with maps, compasses, keys, puzzles, and mini bosses. I want to give this game a better rating but I feel like I’m playing a slightly updated version of BOTW with great additions to the world of Hyrule but not enough change to the over all storyline.
