Midnight Mass could have had a great story to tell with interesting characters and a compelling narrative. Unfortunately, like a bat with wholes in it's wings, it never really gets to take off in a meaningful way. The show is heavily weighed down at times by poor dialog writing and monologues that feel like they serve no purpose. It's unfortunate becuase at its core Midnight Mass has a lot of interesting ideas around faith and how man can twist it to fit his will. It just falls short.

One of the best pieces of Starwars media (not just game) made to date. A must play for any fan of the franchise. I can admit that the game is not flawless but the world that Respawn has crafted looks sounds and feels spectacular and is accompanied by an equally amazing story. The game does suffer from some story pacing issues, and some loading and respawning delays can break the immersion but this is a huge leap in the right direction for the franchise. I hope to see many more Star Wars games made in the likeness of Jedi Fallen Order.
