I couldn't put this book down! Even though I am male, this book spoke, at least to me, across the sexes... the issues explored were relatable to everyone...and as a child growing up in the 60's I thought Ms Rosen captured the essence of the 60's, at least in New York!

A great read! ...and just goes to prove that the so called 'decline in values' tauted about the 2000's was no different back in the early to mid 20th century, indeed throughout human history... and a great look at the human face of many historical figures... a pity about how it accentuates the avariciousness of women or does this reflect what much of the book indicates as... 'reality' in a bygone age as well as this...???
