Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides is an excellent adventure film with great characters, an awesome cast, a fantastic score, brilliant writing and direction, impressive cgi and visual effects with some beautiful scenery and set designs.
On Stranger Tides may not be as good as the first three films, but it’s still an enjoyable experience, and is incredibly underrated. Johnny Depp hasn’t lost a beat as Jack Sparrow, who by the way is still an awesome character as he always is. Penelope Cruz was a great new character and the perfect match for Jack, Ian McShane was perfect as Blackbeard, and Geoffrey Rush is still as awesome as Jack. And of course my two favorites are Philip Swift and Syrena (Sam Claflin and Astrid Berges Frisbey) who have a beautiful love story and steal every scene they’re in. Hopefully one day we might see these two again in the distant future, because they have so much potential as characters and with they’re relationship.
Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides definitely earns a 9 out of 10 ranking and I recommend it to anyone whose a big fan of this franchise, or anyone who needs some cheering up after the depressing failure that was Dead Men Tell No Tales
