Smart writing and good casting. Definitely worth watching.

Just stumbled upon the movie and found it interesting and familiar. Fast forward to 2023 and we now have individuals who are furries, identifying as an animal or feeling like they are a different species other than human. I find this sad. My mother suffered from a mental illness and spent her life being treated. My fear is we stopped treating mental illness and now embrace it as a badge of honor, cheered on by others while the illness persists. I doubt today this movie would be considered politically correct. And yet it doesn't change that mental illness needs treatment, not applause.
