Story was all over the place and the visual aspects were way over done. There was nothing original about the film. It felt like Wes was just taking various forms of effects he pioneered in his other films and mashed them all together here. The film was so bad I had to fast forward parts of it because the scenes went on way too long. Terrific cast as always. Just a real bomb of a film. Definitely Wes Anderson’s weakest movie.
