SPOILERS!!! I actually liked the film, it had such a promising start. The amazing special effects and really powerful supporting actors - no I wasn't expecting a master piece, I had calibrated my expectations - however couldn't help feel that it just fell short of what it needed to deliver as a film. I think part of this was due to the focus on the JLo's character. I kept secretly hoping that the rest of the crew did not die, when it became obvious that they did, I held out hope that Sterling's character was still alive for some additional dialogue - but unfortunately it's like 30 min of just JLo and the AI before Simu joins. I think this was a missed opportunity of the film. But otherwise decently entertaining in the beginning.
