The premise for this show is what drew me in. The acting can be stiff at times, and the writing is just okay most of the time. However, I made allowances for that being more about cultural differences than actual talent. This series is much more soap opera than it is action/adventure. Even so, I would have given it a 4-star rating if the last episode hadn't ruined the whole thing.
