I watch this film every Halloween season. Something about it always brings me back to it, despite seeing it hundreds of times. It is a little slow, but the slowness only adds to what brings me back to it: the empty feeling of the film. It is perfect for Halloween, the lack of characters and slow moving plot give me chills, and it creeps me out to the point where I’m under the blanket. After reading reviews, I’ve seen that this film is “boring” and has no plot. You are not able to tell that there is no plot from the beginning, so on top of having an odd feeling, (I’ll explain it as, the feeling you get when you’re walking alone and feel like someone is following you, but there is no one there at all), you are left thinking and wondering. Trying to tie it all together. I think this film is done very well, and is right up my alley. I am a huge horror fan and see every horror movie the minute it is released to theaters or Netflix. This film is in the top 10.
