Julia Saunders

Edgy crime drama this isn’t. It’s just about watchable but the character played by Amara Karen (Leila Hussain) is simply unbelievable and unconvincing as an undercover detective. Her acting is by far the worst in the whole series. I haven’t seen her in anything else and will look on Wikipedia for her recent roles in the hope that she suffers bad lines or is badly directed. The other characters are all pretty good. Callum is a bit wet but he plays a newbie cop so benefit of the doubt there. Sorry BBC this is below your standard
