The author is really hard to like. She is that annoying co-worker with no work-life balance who stays late doing everyone else's tasks without being asked to. She still has the in-informed, narrow political views of a people-pleaser with no life experience. Realizing her complicity while watching Mark Meadows’ descent into madness in service to “The Boss”, Hutchinson belatedly comes clean about some of the illegal activities she has facilitated. (There is more besides what we heard in the televised hearings.) Too late, she understands she has just swum an ocean for men who wouldn’t bother to step over a puddle for her.
