I am no longer a consistent Star Wars watcher due to the recent shows and movies' lack of creativity. Seeing the trailer for The Acolyte gave me hope that this show would draw me back into the universe, and I can say after watching the first 5 episodes, it did. This is one to watch, the writing, dialogue, choreography, and practical effects bring you back to the prequel movies. The fight scenes are candy for the eyes, (those who enjoy hand-to-hand combat), and in episode 5, we are given some of the greatest lightsaber choreography since Revenge of the Sith. I haven't rewatched fights like these since the prequel movies. I still don't understand why this show is receiving so much hate, it confuses me. There are some nit-picks here and there, but this is a solid show to check out without your time being wasted.
