DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Everything about this movie was beyond cliche, predictable, and ridiculously boring. It was also not worth the slightest bit of energy to have to read subtitles. Period.

Weird, but definitely entertaining.

Nicely filmed. Pretty actors who did the best they could. Predictable and corny. If you’re going to allow yourself to spend any time watching it, wait ‘til it comes free on TV. Otherwise, move on with your life and don’t feel you missed anything.

As much as I absolutely adore the Harry Potter books/movies, I cannot feel less about these Fantastic Beasts movies. I feel nothing for the characters, feel the movies are completely ridiculous and complete messes. They’re awful, and this last one is no exception. I forced myself to see it through to the end in hopes of it finally changing my mind. It clearly didn’t. I could’ve turned it off at any point and never wondered or cared about the outcome. ‘Such a huge disappointment! I’d strongly suggest not wasting your time watching it.

Weird, slow, boring, average over-acting, like every other show exactly like this one, puts us to sleep, don’t care about the characters, better than nothing if the tv is on (maybe),…..

OMG! I’m only halfway through this second episode (trying my very hardest to stick with it ‘til the end). It’s so unbearable!! Wish me luck!! Phew! I actually made it ‘til the end. Wow. I’m beyond disappointed since I truly wanted to love this show. It is not even remotely close to the wonderfulness which was Downton Abbey. The writing, acting, even the visuals fall completely flat. I couldn’t feel less about any of the characters, and find zero intrigue in this snooze fest of a story. Needless to say, I will not be giving it any more of my time, nor give it another chance.

I WISH I could rate this zero stars! Ridiculous, cliche, awful, terrible, waste of time, cliche (again!), amateurish, pitiful (especially for such [mostly] top-rated actors, predictable and cliche!! Don't waste your time (even if you think you’ve watched everything else available on TV). You’re welcome.

What an absolutely wonderful movie!! I’ve seen it quite a few times within the last few years, and I’ve recommended it to people of all different ages (16 - 60). I’m 61. They’ve all truly enjoyed it. It’s quirky and sweet, entertaining, warm, and relatable on many different levels. The acting is wonderful. I cannot say enough nice things about it, and see no reason why anyone would not feel glad to have watched it.

I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan!! I watch whenever they’re on tv for years. I’ve always marveled at the realism of the filming and acting in them. My phone ringer is Hedwigs theme, and I’ve made multiple HP-inspired Halloween decorations. Needless to say, I was thrilled that these new movies were coming out. Wow. Was I more than disappointed! These were outlandish, unrealistic, and poorly acted. (I’m a huge Eddie Redmayne fan, too!). I couldn’t feel anything for any of the characters (human or creatures). It seemed obvious that these weren’t directed or produced by the same team who created all the other HP movies. I don’t understand how/why they continue to show these on tv and do not recommend them. Such a shame.

OMG! This was so amazingly beautiful! Other than loving Elton John’s music for over 45 years, I really didn’t know his life story. I didn’t have any preconceived ideas or knowledge about this. I didn’t even know it was a musical. It touched me so deeply ‘til the very end. The acting was outstanding, and the actors’ actually sang wonderfully. I’m so very happy that I saw this movie. Wow.
