I’m a huge Borderlands fan but I’m really struggling to stay interested in Borderlands 4. The mechanics & weapons are definitely improved but it lacks the whimsical & wacky aspects that have made the series so much fun for me. I like the open world concept but I find it repetitive & boring compared to the colorful diverse worlds of previous games. The stories & characters are ok but not as enjoyable & fun… I’ve already invested many hours in this game & it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. I really want to be positive about this game but it has simply abandoned the charm, etc. that made me a fan in the first place. Hopefully the DLC will make this game more enjoyable.
