This album. This album, is the album to represent imagine dragons, maybe not in the present day. But for me, when I think of imagine dragons, I think of smoke + mirrors. This album is perfect, The art is perfect, All of the songs are perfect, and I'm glad It sure as hell got a deluxe. While I haven't listened to the deluxe yet, Ive heard snippets of it and to be honest, they sound alright I guess. Best song on here, is definitely either friction or I bet my life. Those songs seem perfect to me it's hard to debate which one is better in my opinion. 10/10 No stuttering.

I do have to admit, this is a good album, just not with a lot VERY good songs, they all seem pretty decent to me. The one that stands out the most is Yesterday. I don't know why. This song feels like an odd one out for this album, and it just feels so special to me because it's different then the other songs on evolve. Awesome album cover. Does fit the theme of most of the songs. My least favorite if I'm gonna be honest will have to be mouth of the river. It feels different then rest of the songs, and I know it said that for yesterday, but it stands out more for mouth of the river. The only good two good part about this song is that it fits the theme of the album cover like the rest, and it sounds like you are at the mouth of the river. Yeah, To be honest, gotta be 7.5 for me.

Loom is a good album with a different taste in music than what they've done before. If I had to say, this sounds a little like if evolve & mercury act 2 had a baby, with mercury taking up most of the genes, but that's my opinion. It's as if Loom had two sides, with songs 1-5 being upbeat with the pitched up vocals in the background. But with songs 6-9 having a little upbeat vibe but just a bit slower, and in my opinion, also more sadder lyrics. I don't really like many of the songs on Loom, besides the first two singles and Gods don't cry. An honorable mention for a great song on here is in your corner. I like the song in general, but the chorus kinda ruined it a little for me. I like the verses and the bridge otherwise though. This album also does feel a little repetitive sometimes, when I mean repetitive, I mean the feel of the songs. And I know that's very common for most albums. But for me it stands out most for Loom. From a scale of 1-10, I would give it a solid 6, It does feel different from their other albums, but a little too different with a little origins and act two feels in there. This is my opinion though. I don't care if you hate me for this opinion. But I do have all of their albums. But I haven't been listening to them from the start. You should still go listen to it. It's not bad to where it ain't listenable. But I used those stars of this album as if they were going by two. 1 star = 2, 2 stars = 4. Which lead to my opinion with these stars to be 3. For 6 = 3 • 2. (I also saw people do ranking for this album, if I had to say, it would have to be 3rd or 2nd to last. Sry.

Enemy is not an official song on mercury, It was added one month after this album was released which I think doesn't make it official. 1.My life: Its sounds like a sad quiet song, it doesn't really get much music until your 2 minutes into the song. 3/10 2.lonely: Its not a good song, But its also not a bad song. It does kind of feel like wrecked in a sort of way except its not sad. 5/10 3.Wrecked let me tell you this first wrecked is based off a dead relative its a sad song. and it kind of is when you listen. 7/10 4.Monday Monday is a decent song. Idk if its this genre but it think it sort of sounds like "Pop rock". 9/10 5.#1 Yes that's actually the title, #1 Give's me like a studying song type of vibe. Pretty much it sounds like a song you would listen to while studying. 8/10 This is when the songs get good. 6.Easy come Easy go This is basically a song to calm down Dan Reynolds (lead singer) If he's having a stressful day I'm not wrong though. he sort of says it. 9/10. 7.GIANTS This is a rock song. This is one the Smokes + mirror songs come in because this is rock. Dan almost sounds like he's about to explode or something (same thing in dull knives). 10/10 8.Its Ok I feel like this is basically a sequel to easy come easy go because its like another one of those calm down songs. 8/10 9.Dull knives its pretty much what I just said about giants 10/10 10.Follow you It sounds like a romantic song. I know one thing this song is defiantly pop. 1/10 11.CUTTHROAT Dude, Just go and listen to this one. This is a good example of "Actually good songs they should put on the radio" 10/10 12.No time for toxic people I'm pretty sure this is another pop song, And if it is, its pretty good. 8/10 Last and ALMOST least 13.One day The songs repetitive the lyrics are repetitive everything in this song is REPETITIVE! you know what i change my mind, last and least. 0/10 its the worst song in the album Total ranking: 88/100

Back in 2018 or 19 I got this album and I thought it was pretty decent. as I kept listening to the songs and listening to the albums the songs just felt "dry". I'm not sure if it's because I listened to it a lot or my music taste just didn't like the songs in the album any more. This doesn't mean I'm saying the songs are bad now, there are still good one's but. It just got old pretty much I guess. 6/10
