The show is progressing well. As with any new production, the BTG actors and actresses' performances will eventually establish on-set chemistry. The show has just started; it deserves a chance to get its footing and grow. It hasn't been six months yet.
The hair and fashion is today's glam while showcasing the beauty of African American natural hair; I LOVE IT! This family is just like any other royal or wealthy family depicted in shows or soap operas like "Y&R" and "B&B," with the key difference being that they are African American. Royalty and affluent families do exist within the African American community. So too the person who said the show was nothing but Royal Brats, that would be in all the SOAPS.
I watched soap operas for over 40 years with my grandmother. I am not just in support of BTG. It's different, fresh, and deserves its mark in Soap Opera.
Some people think that the characters in the other soap operas of today have overkill actors and actresses who have been on the show for years; we've just become accustomed to it. But it's a Soap Opera meant to be DRAMA. So relax, stop comparing, and embrace something different than what we are used to.
