Bill & Ted Go Woke 😔 While I've no issue with anyone's sex or colour, it bothers me when filmmakers have to conform to ticking all of the politically correct boxes, just to get a film made...and Bill & Ted Face The Music appears to be one of these movies (sadly). In a nutshell, the seemingly obvious multicultural casting, and, the focus on females being better than males, distracts heavily from the story itself. While there were some parts of the film that created a chuckle & a feeling of nostalgia, the film just felt poorly directed & executed. Both Keanu Reeves & Alex Winter did stellar jobs in reprising their roles, but it seems the choice of director was completely wrong for this film. All this film seems to do is pass the baton on to younger female characters, just like the Terminator and Star Wars franchises...and this fails to work every time... And so, I will do what I did with both the Star Wars and Terminator franchises: As with Return Of The Jedi and Terminator 2, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey will, to me, always be the last movie of this franchise.
