¡Spoilers! I never write book reviews but omg this book is so good. It's sort of like the Hunger Games but also different and engaging in its own way. This book is a sort of a dystopian novel and captivates your feelings and emotions! I enjoy dystopian satort of writing so I knew I'd enjoy this but it exceeded my expectations. Even from the start, the book built suspense on whether Cia would be able to go to The Testing. Then, when her father tells her of the horrifying memories he has of his experience of The Testing. omg it made me so worried. Then, the first 3 tests building up to the fourth test in the wild. AND OMG DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED. They face mutant humans, animals, other cunning and ruthless Testing candidates, and traps set by the officials. I almost forgot to mention the parts where Cia finds out about how cruel the United Commonwealth is and how they're monitoring their every move. 6 In summary, go read it!! It's so good!!
