Long time player of this game. I have played as this game started as a game full of potential with fun, easy to get into aerial combat. I was there as it got into ground combat and introduced tanks, and again when it introduced boats. But I also watched as the developers introduced more and more greedy methods to force players to pay for their game, making it as unbearable as possible for f2p. It started by making the grind longer, more revolting. It also involved unfolding vehicles that were, for all intent and purposes, identical to each other. Then it was the repair cost - making it impossible to earn any money unless you paid to play. Little by little they chipped away at this game, guided by greed, all the while refusing to listen to community advices and wisdom. The developers always believe themselves infallible. To every mistakes, outrages and crisis, they've responded with tone deaf arrogance, blaming the playerbase while elevating themselves as all knowing. It's a shame. They could of went the route of no man sky, fix the game and listen to critiques. Instead, they are closing themselves up - as of this writing, they have removed the steam logo from their partners on the main website, as a direct result of negative reviews. They are banning people from their main forum if you dare encourage others not to play in protest of outrageous changes to the economy. What's next? Will you also remove your game from Steam, console and every platform until it's only published on a platform you fully control, Gaijin Entertainment?
