Quite well done, slow pace. Original directing, typical for Sophie Coppola.

British political drama, with a few interesting and rather meaningful aspects (immigrants, how to control them, how politicians see them). Everything fall together and yet everything seems to have totally different trajectory. Carey Mulligan delivers great performance, it is always nice to see her in action. Yes, it is worth seeing, 4 hours all together.

In general a nice movie to watch. I got a little confused with the age of the sons. My first impression was, that they were just over 18 and when I realized that they were much older than that and rather well established in their professional lives, I felt actually embarrassed for the mothers to pull the stunt like that. I am a mother as well and as much as I love and try to keep in touch with my sons, I would not be doing anything similar to what they had done. But not all mothers are created equally. No harm was done, in the movie, though😁

I think it was quite entertaining, in spite of series of dramatic events.

It summarized well what went in 2020, in a funny yet intelligent way. I enjoyed watching it, especially that I am in agreement with the representation of events, tragic, sad and sadly stupid, and with representation of characteristics of "main players" on a political stage.

Strong, fast paced, empowering women's character and abilities, in the time of need. The plot was a little strange and not very realistic, but it was a movie after all.

Austin Butler delivers great performance, so does Tom Hanks. However going to see this movie I have expected it to be more in chronological order. The young Elvis, the beginning of his career and so on. The movie have delivered that order but in a chaotic rather, and limited way, focusing mainly on Elvis relationship with his long time manager, Col Parker. Very manipulative and almost toxic relationship. I have also expected more Elvis music and more of his performances. The movie instead, focused on Elvis as a very emotional, fragile, sensitive, and easily influenced individual. To me it was to much of Col Parker in the movie and not enough everything else.

It is not easy to find something interesting, or capturing my attention, on the Netflix. I am so disappointed 😞. .. but what can be done??!! Decided to watch Angelina Jolie in "Those who wish me dead", and yes there is an action in it, which makes it to be watched, and big fire, feeling real. But that about all qualities in it.. the rest is just kind of nonsense. For example there is no mentioning what the reason was, to blow up the house and to kill the "forensic accountant" and his kid. Who was behind it ( I hope not Tyrel Perry, as I happened to like him). So it has not been revealed at all, to the end. Angelina is a beautiful, however somehow older looking, as ever, rebel, but with the reason. She needed to redeem herself, to overcome the painful quilt. She was given that opportunity by helping Connor. And that it. The End. Now that explains dissatisfaction, as I was hoping for some explanation at the end.

I went to see this movie at the Cineplex in Toronto, on 1290 Yonge St. Terrible cinema!!!!! The movie was meant to be provocative, intellectual, but still captivating. It failed to be captivating and to some degree intellectual and provocative. Same old racial problems, as well as the conflict between teacher and student and how the parents react toward that conflict. Nothing new, just put in a different stir. Dont go to far to watch it. Maybe, but probably not, it will be on HBO or similar.

It shows the reality of life in an atypical way. I find it somehow difficult to watch and truly follow, though. A way to see some history of Berlin, including the latest situation with helping and accommodating refugees. It also portrays the 21st Century life styles for a young, as well as more mature generations. Show interesting part of the Grey City...
