I'd hoped the film would live up to the hype. The trailers were promising, and it had two of my favorite actors. What could go wrong? I normally shy away from Quentin Tarantino's ultra graphic sadism, but, hey, I heard this was a departure from his normal type of movie so anticipated something better. It failed to deliver. The pace was slow, the characters undeveloped, the story uninteresting and it culminated in the usual Tarantino horror movie ending. The few bright moments may have been the sweet reaction of Sharon Tate delighting in watching herself on screen and the fun of watching Bruce Lee in action, even if he was spoofed. Don't waste your time on this big disappointment.
