2023 version was....not good...in any way. I see how they were trying to respectfully modernize the story which I can appreciate and totally condone. However, it lacked the magical feeling you're supposed to get when listening/watching the story of Peter Pan. It felt lifeless and boring. The acting was also terrible. I think there had to have been better child actors than those who were cast; But maybe I'm being too harsh. I think they did the best they could. Personally, NOTHING beats the 2003 version. That will always be the best one and have such a special place in my heart. If you haven't seen it, I strongly recommend it (you can view it on Netflix now!!) It was the most magical media portrayal of Peter Pan there ever was.
