I ordered a copy after it won International Booker Prize....it was totally disappointing...it covers stories of a particular community .. .but I am sure that the majority of this community will also not resonate with it.
The translators note was even more annoying " Nonetheless, today's India , where a decade of far right politics has descended dangerously into Hindutva led majoritaritatianism hatred and severe persecution of minorities "
It was disappointing.
As an Indian I won't recommend the book.
