The movie is good, but in patches. Some scenes are impactful. Examples include when the pack of wolves appears with their glowing eyes in the dark. Secondly, when one or two of the survivors are attacked. And last but not least, the last scene.
The survivors could easily find the track. However, they do the opposite--just asking for troubles. Ottway, the wisest of them, could do better. I mean he could make makeshift weapons out of the plane trash.
There should be more stress laid on character buildup. One guy is cynical. One guy is rude. One guy is coward. Well, this time this kind of portrayal doesn't work with the movie. The movie fails to highlight the inner conflicts of all characters---instead, it looks like "they are doing it for the sake of doing".
Liam Neeson stands out of the rest, doing justice with his role. Although better could be done.
