I’m Mexican and I grew up hearing about La Llorona, and as much as I love The Conjuring movies, this one is by far my least favorite, everyone saying the plot and jumpscares were predictable… it’s true. I don’t know but the main characters moms screams just annoyed me, the little girl also annoyed me, honestly they were all very poorly written, the ghosts death was terrible, it was just very hard to enjoy this movie, and this movie really could’ve been amazing, it was full of potential but it was very poorly scripted and over dramatized, if you really wanna get scared, watch La Llorona but the actual old Mexican version, those are actually good and they continue to scare me even to this day.
