Can I give negative stars? This was...by far...the worst horror movie (does not qualify as a film) I have ever seen, and I saw Critters (1986). Seriously, who tries to make societal or pseudo-political statements with horror movies? This is why some people hate uber-liberals, because of this nonsense. Male-bashing at its finest, complete with the requisite beta-male, played a little too convincingly by Simon Mead. I wish I could get my money back. At least I know to avoid movies that are written and/or directed by Sophia Takal. This felt like a project for a Women's Studies course. There is one expression that made me laugh out loud: "The ruthless patriarchy of higher education."
