I’ve watched a lot of British crime drama. This falls under the heading of “hate-watch” because it is so cringy at times but you’ve come this far, so you feel like you might as well finish. The only good part is the pretty scenery. Ugh, the scenes are all exactly like each other- you can predict what’s going to happen. Right away I noticed the number of times they do a scene change with the SAME FREAKING SHOT AND MUSIC… The Commodore! Apparently the only place in town anybody ever eats or drinks, except for about 2 episodes after it burns and they make up some other cafe never mentioned before so you can stage the exact same scenes in it, till the Commodore’s back open! I hate Nicole so much, she’s incredibly dumb, self-centered and annoying, and Clint is just as bad. Why does anybody in that town like them? The plot lines meander and switch rails and back again. The same shot of “Interview room 1” the 2 cops question a person who says something vague and the cops say, “Come on, what really happened, and they say “Ok fine…” I could go on. Just terrible writing.
