Admittedly had no idea what I was going to see. Saw the movie poster and that it was a “comedy” so we decided to give it a chance. The entire time, you’re thinking “no way the next new characters are gonna be gay too? Right?” And then BOOM, MORE gay characters for some reason? There’s nothing wrong with gay characters in a movie, but it feels super forced when like LITERALLY 90% of the characters in the movie are sexually deviant with no compulsion by the plot… wonder why that is? The movie is basically a propaganda piece for “conservative people bad, religion bad, straight white men bad, gay people good.” The whole story is a bunch of loose ends that you expect to weave together as the plot thickens, but instead you’re just bombarded with lesbian sex scenes and a cliffhanger and absolutely ZERO plot development. The movie just presents you with a bunch of questions at the beginning, and then provides an hour of filler until the end where there’s LITERALLY no resolution. Even the praising reviews criticize the lack of direction in the plot, so leaving out the woke liberal propaganda piece that it is, this movie is utter garbage. Calling it a comedy is a bit of a stretch. There is humor, but it’s nothing that’ll make you do anything more than a light exhale through the nose on occasion. Just super disappointing. The only good thing about it was the cinematography, I’ll admit that.
