I just actually watched episode 5. So we have an untrained wild force user who crafted a lightsaber by himself and defeated nearly a dozen Jedi. As much as I wanted this series to be good it just fell off a cliff.
The fight scene wasnt terrible but the story build wasn't good either. Couldn't understand why so many Jedi were needed to retrieve one rogue Jedi. It must have been a training mission. The Jedi in the group fell like flies. The best fighter was the padawan, none of the others could fight worth a damn. After an action packed fight sequence the writers thought it was a great idea to kill all the nameless Jedi along with interesting ones and then. ....... a confusing switch of places . Leave all the dead, are you kidding. No call for help just walk away. So much for honor in the historic Jedi Order.
All this just ruined my thought of a possible decent series. Do the producers just let the writers destroy everything about lore, plausibility and common sense. Maybe they think. Its Star Wars , it doesn't have to be good, or make sense or meet any expectations. As long as we say Jedi and have light sabers they will love it. No. I and the rest of us devoted fans expect better.
Didnt you learn anything from the Sequels, sure they made a ton of money but true fans hated them. That is what Kennedy had done during her tenure as head of Lucas properties. Only Favreau and Filoni truly love Star Wars and know what to put on the screen . Something that true fans can appreciate and enjoy.
