Although the imagery was amazing, this sequel felt totally unnecessary. The actual story isn't very good, it's chock full of jump scares, and The Nun barely "Nunned" in this movie. Total disappointment for me. The fact is, I am such a fan of The Conjuring universe. However I am not a fan of director Michael Chavez.

This show is such a fresh spin in the oversaturated psychological thriller genre!! It gets even better near the end, placing all the pieces to the puzzle together in a way that isn't at all difficult to follow. However after learning it's been cancelled after only 1 season, I'm totally upset about how the series ended.
