Total mind effer. Endless plot twists. Despite that, the movie was enjoyable and funny and modernized to reflect todays world for good or bad But the last hour is filled with so many tests and turns that it was hard to follow at times. And despite there being several instances where an ending seemed appropriate and imminent, things took a turn to the weird where there is death despite comedy and long scenes and musical numbers that prolong the weirdness to the point that you’re so used to the plot twists that you fall asleep. Still it tackles some serious issues but it’s a far cry from a feel-good family comedy for all ages.
