John is so very quirky in the best possible way. He brings forth both a mixed airy lightness and dark moody colors of thought through his storytelling, play, and art. He shines as the crocodile in the beginning. Life is for living. You just want to hug this guy after every episode. He demostrates that my programed mind will kill my soul if doesn't get enough creative play daily. Was feeling cheated and abandoned due to giving up art.John helped me remember that feeling I had in my childhood running barefoot though the woods. I would go to sleep, have fanatic adventures, and would try to live out those dreams the following day. John really does this well. I feel he is suggesting, "why not now" and it doesn't matter if it's perfect. Painting with John is an intimate journey into his private world. His friends are so adorable. Made me smile all week thinking about the wolf and the elephant inside us all. Uncaged is he. Big fan of his work. Want to get that lost, loosen all time, and melt into my work like John does. He's hilarious. Love this show.
