Can't wait for the directors cut! Really enjoyed this and found it surprisingly watchable.... It has all the elements and characters needed to set up a star wars like universe, Only much better... I am hoping we will finally get a grittier, serious more adult themed version that many if not most of us have always wanted... The star wars movies always felt like there were so many under developed and neglected great potential characters that promised much and delivered very very little.. Snoke General grevious Even Lord Vader.... This is a chance to really go there and do the genre justice R rated Blood and guts Real depth and meaningful performances etc Zack Snyder definitely the man for the job!!

I wasnt expecting it to be as absorbing and gripping as it was, especially with it being the edited PG version i think.... But i loved it!! My wife and I were pleasantly surprised and I am looking forward to part 2, aswell as the Directors cuts...!! The movie flowed nicely and when compared to other similar movies i'd say the performances were much more credible and engaging. I can see huge potential for an extended universe here where backstories for individual characters are delved into and developed. So looking forward to them!!
